Parks, Trails & Beach Accesses

The rural areas of the Comox Valley Regional District (CVRD) are home to 65 parks to explore, in addition to 24 marked beach accesses. There are also many kilometres of maintained trails where horseback riders, cyclists, hikers and pet walkers can connect with the natural beauty of the Comox Valley.

Campfire Ban in Effect by BC Wildfire Service

July 11, 2024
As a result of a campfire ban issued by BC Wildfire Service, the Comox Valley Regional District (CVRD) and its surrounding partner agencies will be issuing the same campfire ban effective Friday, July 12, 2024 at 12:00 noon Pacific Daylight Time. This prohibition is being issued to help reduce wildfire risk and protect public safety.

To further reduce wildfire risk in the Comox Valley, a smoking ban has been issued in all CVRD parks. Also, the beach fires program has been suspended until further notice and fire rings will be removed from designated parks.

Royston Seaside View Platform Closed
