Comox Valley Economic Development Services
The Comox Valley Economic Development Society (CVEDS) is the contractor for the delivery of economic development services in the Comox Valley, with the exception of the Village of Cumberland, and Denman and Hornby Islands. CVEDS helps existing businesses grow and works with potential investors and entrepreneurs to realize the benefits of investing and doing business in the Comox Valley.
The agreement between CVEDS and the Comox Valley Regional District is administered by the CVRD's Chief Administrative Officer.

Denman and Hornby Islands Economic Development
Denman WORKS! is committed to improving the socio-economic health of Denman Island by supporting community organizations that share this aim. Operating as a Society, under an Agreement with the Comox Valley Regional District, we aim to leverage our tax-funded budget to obtain the maximum benefit for islanders.
Hornby Island Community Economic Enhancement Corporation (HICEEC) goal is "Building a sustainable island economy." HICEEC is a non-profit Community Economic Development Corporation operating on Hornby Island, British Columbia. HICEEC’s purpose is to take leadership in developing and implementing solutions to social and economic issues facing the citizens of Hornby Island.
