The Comox Valley Regional District (CVRD) Board of Directors meets monthly, usually on the last Tuesday of each month. In addition to board meetings, the CVRD uses a standing and select committee system to support the decision making process.

The board also hosts periodic elected officials' forums to bring elected officials from across the Comox Valley together to receive information and discuss issues of regional significance.  Past sessions have focused on issues such as climate change, air quality, infrastructure funding, emergency management, regional growth strategy, recreation services and transportation.

The Comox Valley Regional District Board encourages you to participate in open discussions about the development of your community. The Board is governed by CVRD Procedure Bylaw No. 1, which regulates the proceedings of the Board and its committees.
