Some of the year-round activities you can enjoy are golfing, boating, kayaking, paddle boarding, beachcombing, scuba diving, hiking, curling, horseback riding, and mountain biking.
Mount Washington Alpine Resort is one of the best known island mountains with stunning opportunities for world class downhill skiing, Nordic skiing, snowboarding, snow tubing, and snow shoeing. A short 30 minute drive and the mountain awaits you.
The nearby Village of Cumberland is the unofficial epicentre of Vancouver Island mountain biking culture and its legendary, loamy trail network provides some of the best racing conditions in the province. Runners and mountain bikers flock to Cumberland each year for a variety of races and events.
