Comox Valley Regional Emergency Cooling Spaces

Cooling spaces in the Comox Valley provide temporary relief from extreme heat conditions.

UPDATE - July 10, 2024:  the Heat Warning has now ended. With temperatures remaining warm, public facilities that offer access to cooler temperatures during regular business hours will remain on the below chart for public awareness.
Heat Safety 

The Regional Mobile Cooling Service has ended, and will be reactivated during the next Heat Warning.


Please note: when Heat Warnings are activated, cooling space information will be updated when new services/locations become available. Below are public facilities open during regular hours.
