CVRD Regional Emergency Services provides administration, collaboration and coordination of Comox Valley (CV) rural fire services departments (under a volunteer fire fighter model) and regional emergency management under the four pillars of emergency management – mitigation/prevention, preparedness, response, and recovery. CV Emergency Management supports the activation and operations of CV local and regional emergency operation centres in emergency situations.
