Bid Opportunities

• Bidders are encouraged to carefully review bid documents in their entirety to ensure their bids comply with the terms and conditions of the procurement and avoid disqualification.
• We caution interested parties not to assume that the lowest priced bid will be awarded the contract.

• Bids won’t be opened in public
• Unverified results will be posted on the CVRD’s bids&tenders website
• On the conclusion of the bid process, bidders will receive an email indicating who the successful bidder is.

The CVRD require the following minimum documentation when providing services to the CVRD:

• Minimum $2,000,000 Comprehensive General Liability Insurance with a provision naming the CVRD as an additional insured and cross liability clause.
• $2,000,000 Motor Vehicle Insurance, including Bodily Injury and Property Damage on any licensed motor vehicles.
• Professional Liability Errors and Omissions insurance in the amount of not less than $1,000,000 per occurrence and a minimum of $2,000,000 aggregate for all claims.
• A current Certificate of Clearance from WorkSafeBC
• A signed CVRD Safety Agreement.

These minimum requirements may vary and change depending on the specific requirements of the Project.

Review the Terms and Conditions

When providing services for the CVRD, vendors will be required to complete an Electronic Fund Transfer (EFT) Application Form.  Invoices should include a project status report detailing ‘spend to date’ and be emailed.
