​Shoreline Attack: How waves and wind shape our beaches and coastlines. Goose Spit Park interpreters explain the forces at work along the Lazo Bluffs and the spit. See how both exposed and protected beaches are constantly changing. Learn how the spit was created and how it may look 20 years from now. Meet at bottom of Goose Spit stairs (parking lot #1)

10:00 am - 12:00 pm Driftwood Marine Park, Clarkson Road entrance

Wetlands and Sloughs: There is no better way to enjoy yourself on Parks Day than to explore a new park. Join naturalists at Driftwood Marine Park near Miracle Beach. You will learn about pond life and the many creatures that depend on wetlands and sloughs.
