Flood Warning – Dove Creek and low-lying areas
A flood warning is in effect for Dove Creek and nearby areas due to very heavy, localized rainfall overnight.
Water levels in Dove Creek have risen rapidly and are still increasing. At the Dove Creek near the mouth monitoring station, flows are currently measured at 161 m³/s, which is higher than what is expected during a 100-year flood event.
