Winter Wonderland (all ages)
Arena #2 will be transformed into a winter wonderland by the CVRD skate staff this holiday season. For a week this space becomes magical and is decorated with trees, lights and other seasonal cheer. If space permits, shinny hockey players will get to enjoy a 1/3rd of the rink and experience what it’s like to play pond hockey while others can enjoy their skate among the trees. This area is available for rent outside of the public times for family, community or corporate functions.

Tiny Tot & Coolest Game Wrap Up Party (2025/2026 Tiny Tot & Coolest Game Participants)
All Tiny Tot and Coolest Game participants and their families are invited to a fun wrap up party. The event will include a fun hockey game, family skate and a pizza party. There will also be a staff photographer on hand to take pictures of your hockey star. If you wish to attend this free event simply register the number of people in your family that will be attending. The regular lesson is still running 2:15-3:45 pm , families are welcome to skate during the EW skate from 3:45-5:15 pm.

Family Popcorn and Movie Night
Join us for a family movie night in Arena 1. We will play a different movie each event – see schedule below. Admission fee includes popcorn and a juice box or pop. Movie starts at 5:30 PM – lot of time for kids to ride their trikes, bikes, rollerskates or other big toys around the rink beforehand. Strollers, skateboards and scooters welcome. Please bring helmets and wear them while using your wheeled toys. Doors open at 4:30 PM and movie starts at 5:30 PM.
