History

The park was created at the time of subdivision in 1990. During the summer of 2001, a portion of the park was cleared, a road access off Pinecrest Road was constructed, a park gate was installed and a few jump lines were formed by a contractor. Neighbourhood children were encouraged to maintain the jumps.

Information

The Pinecrest Bike Skills Park appeals to all ages and skill levels and includes a variety of natural features. Those features include intermediate and advanced jump tracks, a pump track for intermediate to advanced riders, as well as an all ages forested pump track consisting of berms, rollers and log features.

To allow for the whole family’s enjoyment, a playground exists which includes swings and other natural features for younger park users.  Pinecrest Park contains a permanent outhouse and also consists of an additional two acres of undeveloped natural forest.

Access the small parking area from Pinecrest Road. An undeveloped, dedicated road bounds the eastern side of the park.
