- The CVRD Sports & Aquatic Centres will reopen tomorrow, May 27 as per the regular schedules.
- We appreciate your patience, understanding, and cooperation during this emergency situation.
Aquatic Centre Facility Closure - June 27 to September 7
The CVRD Recreation team will be closing the Comox Valley Aquatic Centre for annual maintenance from June 27 until September 7, 2026. During this time, the Sports Centre will remain fully open with the summer schedule running from June 29 until September 6.
The Aquatic Centre will reopen with fall schedules on September 8, 2026.
Upcoming Special Swims & Schedule Changes

The second and final phase of the Sports Centre fitness equipment installation is scheduled for Wednesday, May 27, from 9:30 a.m. to approximately 5:00 p.m. During this time, the fitness centre will be closed to patrons to allow for the safe completion of the installation.
We appreciate your patience and understanding as we complete these upgrades to enhance the fitness experience for our patrons.
