Homelessness Supports Service Funding
The Comox Valley Homelessness Supports Service Establishment Bylaw No. 389 provides for the Comox Valley Regional District (CVRD) to fund one or more non-governmental organization(s) in the Comox Valley based on a Board approved action plan to address homelessness.
The CVRD is providing up to $255,000 in funding for initiatives that support community members currently experiencing homelessness and/or help prevent homelessness in the Comox Valley. Funding is offered by the CVRD with distribution support from the Coalition to End Homelessness.
This year, applications are open to all non-government organizations. Initiatives must be delivered within the Comox Valley, and applications that include partnerships between organizations are encouraged.
