Each year, the Comox Valley Regional District (CVRD) provides a variety of granting opportunities to non-profit and charitable organizations within the community, with a reminder that grant submissions are due by October 15.
The granting opportunities include rural community grants for the Electoral Areas (formerly known as grant-in-aid), one-time community grants for recreation, arts and culture, and several other grants where the sole purpose is to provide annual financial contributions to nonprofit organizations that have demonstrated community benefit and need.
“These grants offer a greater opportunity to assist non-profit and charitable organizations throughout the Comox Valley,” says Edwin Grieve, Electoral Areas Services Committee Chair. “Thank you to all that apply; we look forward to reviewing the submissions and supporting the community as much as possible.”
Whether your organization brings people together through sport, sparks creativity through the arts, or delivers vital services in rural areas, the CVRD encourages you to apply. Please note that these grants are reviewed annually and are not intended to provide long-term operational support.
