The Comox Valley Regional District (CVRD), as part of the Comox Valley Sewer Conveyance Project, is required to close a section of Lazo Road beginning Monday, February 23, 2026, to facilitate construction of the sewer forcemain (MAP 1). The construction zone will be closed to all traffic, February 23 – 27, including bike and pedestrian traffic, 24/hrs day.
Beginning March 2, 2026, for approximately six to eight weeks, portions of Torrence Road and Lazo Road, near the Torrence/Lazo intersection will be closed for construction to all traffic, including bike and pedestrian traffic, 24/hrs day (MAP 2).
Residents of Torrence Road will be able to enter and exit from their residences.
