Comox Valley Aquatic Centre Experiencing Construction Delays

The Comox Valley Aquatic Centre will be reopening September 2 under the fall schedule and operating under normal business hours while facility maintenance and construction continues.

“The Comox Valley Aquatic Centre roof replacement is slightly delayed with work continuing into September,” explains Jennifer Zbinden, Senior Manager of Recreation Services. “The facility will be reopening as planned on September 2nd, and we are excited to announce that the slides have been refurbished and a larger fitness centre with new equipment will be available.”

Please note:

  • Both Pool facilities are closed August 30, 31st and September 1st, however, the arenas will be open on Aug 30 and 31st. 
  • Both pool facilities will reopen September 2 with the fall schedule in effect.
