Comox Emergency Management Releases Re-Entry Information for Evacuees

The Comox Valley Regional Emergency Operations Centre (EOC) has released re-entry information for evacuees due to the recent flooding and continues to monitor weather forecasts for any shift in conditions.  

The current weather conditions have improved and the flood watches have ended which has allowed the Comox Valley Emergency Operations Centre to begin transitioning towards the recovery phase. 

For evacuees returning to their properties, re-entry information including a homeowner’s checklist, what to do after a flood, health service information, how to dispose flood impacted debris and trailer, camper and boat disposal, visit www.comoxvalleyrd.ca/eoc.  

The Comox Valley Emergency Operations Centre remains open, and the Local State of Emergency remain in place. The reception centre at the Lower Native Sons Hall was closed at 3 pm Saturday after all emergency orders and alerts were rescinded. Group lodging and supports will continue to be available overnight for registered evacuees.

  • Puntledge Park
  • Muir McLaughlin
  • Airpark Lagoon Loop
  • McPhee Meadows
