The Comox Valley Regional District (CVRD) is accepting applications for its 2027 community grants program.
Eligible non-profit and charitable organizations in the Comox Valley can apply for funding to support events, programs, services, and infrastructure that benefit Comox Valley residents. Applications must be submitted by 4:30 pm on October 15, 2026.
Available grant opportunities include:
- Rural Community Grant
- Recreation Grant
- Arts and Culture Grant
- Rural Community Hall Grant
“Community organizations help create vibrant, inclusive spaces by providing opportunities for residents to connect, participate, and access services close to home,” said Doug DeMarzo, General Manager of Community Services. “These grant programs allow the CVRD to invest in local programs, events, services, and facilities that strengthen communities across the Comox Valley.”
Whether your organization brings people together through sport, inspires creativity through the arts, delivers vital services in rural areas, or provides important community facilities in regional areas, the CVRD encourages you to apply.
Grant funding is reviewed each year and is not intended to support ongoing operating costs.

The Comox Valley Regional District is a partnership of three electoral areas and three municipalities operating on the unceded traditional territory of the K’ómoks First Nation, the traditional keepers of the land. The members of the regional district work collaboratively on services for the benefit of the diverse urban and rural areas of the Comox Valley.
