Initiatives & Programs
The regional district has a wide range of active initiatives and programs that improve quality of life in the Comox Valley.
Fresh, filtered and fully disinfected drinking water is now flowing to 50,000 residents in the Comox Valley – an achievement celebrated with an event on September 21, 2021 at the Comox Valley Regional District’s new Water Treatment Facility on Lake Trail Road.
The Comox Valley Sewer Service treats raw sewage (wastewater) from homes and businesses in Courtenay, Comox and K’ómoks First Nation.
Each year the Comox Valley Regional District (CVRD) provides a variety of granting opportunities to non-profit and charitable organizations within the community.
