Recreation is for everyone and the CVRD encourages Comox Valley residents to live active and healthy lifestyles. We offer drop-in fitness opportunities, registered programs and fun leisure and sports activities throughout the year at our two recreation facilities and our exhibition grounds. From swimming and skating, to fitness and wellness, we have something for everyone.

Free Public Wi-Fi Access Now at the Sports and Aquatic Centres

We are pleased to announce that through a joint initiative with Telus and the CVRD, Telus has brought free public Wi-Fi access to the CVRD sports and aquatic centres.  Patrons and user groups will now be able to access free Wi-Fi from any location (pool decks, reception areas, arenas, stands, meeting rooms) within our recreation facilities.

Patrons using a Telus phone or device will be able to connect immediately to free Wi-Fi through the “#TELUSDirect” network.

Patrons using non-Telus phones or devices will be able to connect using the “#TELUS” network by following a few simple steps.  First time users will need to provide a valid email address and agree to the terms in order to access to the free Wi-Fi.
