The Comox Valley Emergency Program (CVEP) functions as a partnership between Comox, Courtenay, Cumberland and the Comox Valley Regional District (CVRD) to provide coordinated emergency programming to the Comox Valley.

These vital programs are responsible for emergency preparedness, mitigation, response and recovery for the Comox Valley and its respective communities.

In addition to government planning for emergencies, it's also essential that we plan – as individuals – for our own safety and disaster recovery. Neighbourhood emergency preparedness (NEPP) courses are held throughout the year to train people to care for themselves.

Emergency Preparedness Week
