Dyke Road Park Revitalization Project

Work Underway for Park Revitalization

Beginning August 1, crews will begin the next stage of work on the Dyke Road Park Revitalization Project. This stage will include:

  • Tree and excavation/grading work
  • Creating new estuarine habitat and fish channel
  • Installing screw piles for the new boardwalk to come

Following completion of this work, a boardwalk is expected to be installed in the fall, with parking lot construction in late 2024/early 2025. All work is off the roadway so traffic disruptions are not expected. However, drivers should be aware of workers and equipment in the area.

The parking lot and viewing area are slated to be closed from May 23 until the fall of 2025 to coincide with the Sewer Conveyance Project
