COMOX VALLEY ICE ALLOCATION
It has become increasing evident that for the 2008/09 ice season that the Comox Valley Regional District’s sports centre adopt an ice allocation policy for the following reasons:

To provide a fair and consistent approach to allocating ice time at the Comox Valley Sports Centre.

To ensure all interested community organizations and residents have balanced access to ice allocations.

To operate the ice services and facilities in an equitable, cost-effective and sustainable manner.

To provide ice users and stakeholders the opportunity to influence policy implementation.
-
To meet current and future demands for both organized and casual participants.
The facility allocation discussions began in September 2007 and will continue until the process has been completed.
