Comox Valley Regional District (CVRD) will receive sealed tenders from qualified contractors until 2:00 pm Pacific time on Thursday, August 19, 2010 for the construction of 928 meters (3,045 feet) of multi-use trail forming part of the One Spot Trail located northwest of Courtenay off of Dove Creek Road. Sealed Tenders marked “Tender for Comox Valley Regional District – Marsden Booster Pump Station" will be received at the office of the administrator, 600 Comox Road, Courtenay, BC, up to 2:00 pm local time (as determined by the wall clock at the Regional District front desk), Tuesday, July 27, 2010. Any Tenders received after the stated opening time will be returned to the tenderer unopened. Tenders will be opened in public at 550 Comox Road, Courtenay, BC, at 2:01 pm on the same day at the Regional District boardroom or other publicized location. The work involves:
Tender documents will be available for pick-up by qualified general contractors at the office of Koers & Associates Engineering Ltd., 194 Memorial Avenue, Parksville, B.C. V9P 2G8 on or after Monday July 12, 2010, upon payment of $112.00 per set (inc. HST). This is non-refundable. Cheques are to be made payable to Koers & Associates Engineering Ltd. Tenders must be accompanied by the specified Bid Bond, payable to Comox Valley Regional District. The lowest or any tender will not necessarily be accepted. Comox Valley Regional District reserves the right to waive informalities in or reject any or all tenders, or accept the tender deemed most favourable in the interests of the Owner. Tenders not conforming to the specified requirements may be returned to the Tenderer without consideration.

The Comox Valley Regional District (CVRD) is seeking quotations for the provision of services to provide community capacity to address homelessness in the Comox Valley. The services required under this Request for Quotation (RFQ) are described in the attached Scope of Services and the Consultant, by submitting a quotation, undertakes to provide the services for the price quoted and as specified. Suppliers obtaining this document from the Internet are solely responsible for checking back for any addenda that may be posted. Quotations clearly marked “Housing and Homelessness” will be received at office of the Comox Valley Regional District at 600 Comox Road, Courtenay, BC V9N 3P6, until 2:00 p.m. Pacific time on July 30, 2010. All prices must be quoted in Canadian dollars with HST shown as a separate item. Prices are to remain valid for a period of 60 days from date of submission. In order to be considered, the consultant should ensure the quotation is received at the CVRD office before the submission deadline. The contract will be issued to the consultant complying with the provisions of the RFQ offering the best value to the CVRD.
