Welcome to the CVRD
Statement of Purpose: The Comox Valley Regional District is a federation of three electoral areas and three municipalities providing sustainable services for residents and visitors to the area. The members of the regional district work collaboratively on services for the benefit of the diverse urban and rural areas of the Comox Valley.

BC Senior Games
The 23rd annual BC Seniors Games will be jointly hosted by the communities of Comox Valley & Campbell River September 15 through 18, 2010. With the support of two regional districts - Comox Valley & Strathcona - and four municipalities- the City of Courtenay, the Town of Comox, the Village of Cumberland and the City of Campbell River - as well as hundreds of volunteers, we look forward to welcoming as many as 3,300 seniors to compete in twenty-eight different events.
Historic Protocol Agreement Signed
Comox Valley local governments and K'ómoks First Nation sign historic protocol agreement establishing a positive government-to-government relationship in the Comox Valley.
2010 Water Efficiency Rebate Program
In addition to last year's popular toilet rebate program, the CVRD is this year offering a rain barrel and cistern rebate. Save that receipt!

Comox Valley Sports Centre Renovation
Construction continues. There will be a phased re-opening of the pool and change rooms. Please note the arena and wellness centre are open.
