First Aid Program
Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
This course trains rescuers in the skills and knowledge needed to assess and provide basic life support to patients with airway, breathing, or circulatory emergencies as well an awareness of the risk factors that contribute to heart disease. CPR-C is the recognized course for health care professionals and lifeguards!
This certification course is 6 hours.
Standard First Aid (SFA)
This course is the most comprehensive first aid training program for the general public and is a prerequisite for the National Lifeguard program. Standard First Aid trains rescuers in the skills and knowledge needed to assess and provide basic life support to patients with airway, breathing, or circulatory emergencies as well as how to manage medical, musco-skeletal and environmental emergencies.
Course is 16-18 hours consisting of dry sessions.
Aquatic Emergency Care (AEC)
Take your lifesaving training to the next level! If you are planning to be a professional lifeguard or looking for more comprehensive first aid and lifesaving training, Aquatic Emergency Care (AEC) will give you the edge. AEC provides hands-on training in the care of injuries and illness common to both aquatic and non-aquatic settings. AEC includes all Standard First Aid items.
Course is 20-24 hours consisting of both dry and wet sessions.
