Fanny Bay Community Park

Natural Features

The park consists of an open area and a remnant second growth forest typical of low elevation seepage sites.  Dominant species are Douglas-fir and red alder.

The park was purchased in 2014 from School District #71.  Historically the site was home to a community school house and today the old cement foundation is still visible.  The property bisects a parking area and turn around that is used by the public to access upland trails and events at the Fanny Bay Community Hall.

The park is accessible off the highway.
